About Donna

Through my years of sculpting and working as a doula (childbirth assistant), I’ve come to love what I call the soul’s dance: the changing shapes of women in pregnancy, of babies becoming children, of adults celebrating their sensuality, of family members gracefully aging, and of athletes living their dream.

In my experience as a lifecasting artist I’ve cast everything from the tiny hands and feet of a two-day-old baby to statuesque Olympic medalists in women’s basketball. Each cast speaks to me, telling its unique and deeply touching story.

Even though I will always love lifecasting, currently I am taking a hiatus from accepting new clients as I have started a new exciting endeavour: Kula Wellness in Brasstown.

I can’t express how grateful I am to Donna- not only for her work, which is just absolutely incredible, but for her grace, generosity and compassion throughout the whole process of organising, taking and working on the stunning life castings she took of sweet Logan. I will never forget the kindness she showed, and I hope so much to support her in following her dream to make these castings possible for other terminally ill children, and to bring comfort to their families. Thank you so much Donna, the castings are so very beautiful.
